Returns Policy

Returns Policy

Effective date: 1 January 2026

Last updated: 1 January 2026

1. Seller-specific returns

Return eligibility, time limits, restocking fees, and who pays return shipping are set by the seller (and shown on the listing or at checkout) except where Nigerian law gives mandatory rights (e.g. for defective or misdescribed goods in relevant cases). If a listing does not state return terms, ask the seller before purchase or see any default rules we publish on the Platform.

2. Defective or not as described

If an item is faulty or materially not as described, you should use the order / escrow / dispute tools on the Platform promptly and provide evidence (e.g. photos). Remedies may include repair, replacement, refund, or partial refund as required by law and our processes.

3. Escrow and refunds

Refunds may depend on escrow status, seller response, and dispute resolution. Release of funds to the merchant generally follows merchant delivery confirmation and buyer receipt confirmation as described in our Terms; returns may reverse or adjust that flow according to the case.

4. Final sale items

Some categories (e.g. digital goods, perishables, personalised items, hygiene products if opened—adjust to your catalogue) may be non-returnable unless the law requires otherwise. The listing should say so clearly.
