Shipping Policy
Shipping Policy
Effective date: 1 January 2026
Last updated: 1 January 2026
1. Who ships
Unless we explicitly run a fulfilment programme for a specific offer, the seller ships to the buyer (seller → buyer). SafedealNG does not take title to goods as seller in ordinary marketplace listings.
2. Shipping options and cost
Sellers should set out shipping methods, costs, and handling time in the listing or at checkout where the Platform allows. Buyers should confirm before paying.
3. Carriers and risk
The seller chooses the carrier unless stated otherwise. Carrier terms apply. Risk of loss and title for physical goods follow what is stated at checkout or in the listing; if silent, your lawyer should align this with your escrow and commercial practice (e.g. on delivery to the address the buyer provided).
4. Timelines
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless we or the seller expressly warrant a date. Delays may occur due to logistics, weather, public holidays, or events outside reasonable control.
5. International shipping
If cross-border sales are allowed, import duties, taxes, and compliance are the buyer’s responsibility unless the listing says otherwise.
6. Escrow and delivery
For SafeDeal Escrow, the merchant confirms delivery and the buyer confirms receipt as part of releasing funds, in line with the Platform flow and any dispute handling.
